Updated research on options for new and enhanced tourism taxation & DMO funding models View the Funding Futures 2020 ResourcesFunding Futures is a major research and analysis project assessing the future of tourism and DMO funding. First released in August 2020, the report offered invaluable insights and recommendations on tourism taxes and funding options for destination marketing and/or management organizations. Now in 2021, Funding Futures is back with an updated edition that provides a new take on these options with insights from a new survey of all U.S. states, Canadian provinces and 120 major North American cities. Funding Futures 2021 shares additional opportunities around recovery funding for DMOs in addition to the latest outlook on the recovery of tourism and funding for DMOs.
